You have hired a personal trainer, haven’t missed a session and are eating everything on the food plan they have provided but the scales and tape are lying or its your personal trainers fault??
Have you taken into account your 2-3 weekly coffee dates with the girls??
So lets say at the table this is what yourself and friend as your both health conscience;
Large Latte(223kcal) plus a “healthy treat” granola slice(205kcal) Total 428kcal.
Large Cappucino(136kcal) plus a “healthy treat” Fruit and oat cookie(210kcal) Total 346kcal.
By 3 weekly girlie meet ups;
Total option 1; 1,284 kcal
Total option 2; 1,038 kcal
So your trainers plan should put you in a calorie deficit(less calories then you need over a 24hour period of breathing,living,moving) so this creates the deficit for fat loss to occur.
An average deficit should be 200-300kcal max.
Now our girlie dates have shot us up 346 & 428kcal per date.
Now lets look over a 7 day period providing that you are 110% on the plan, not missing meals or grazing through the day or having the odd cheat.
Your deficit has now become a surplus(eating more calories needed per day to gain weight)!
So what do we do as we still need to meet the girls, socialise and not shut ourselves out as a dieting recluse.
An Americano 11kcal, Snack drop the snack here saving a massive weekly calorie build up of
Option 1 1,251 kcal
Option 2 1,004 kcal
Goal……Still in our calorie defict…..Not missing coffee dates & chats with the girls……Still on track to achieving the dream bikini body.
